I went to the gym and realized I’d left my phone at home. I thought I should spend a day without it. To notice how many times I look at it.

I went to Starbucks afterward and grabbed an iced americano and lunch. There was no parking at all so I ate in the car. I was halfway to Jupiter when I noticed the temperature gauge showing that the car was overheating.

I didn’t have a phone with me and prayed I’d make it home. I did.

“Learn to get in touch with the silence within yourself, and know that everything in life has purpose. There are no mistakes, no coincidences, all events are blessings given to us to learn from.” Elisabeth Kubler-Ross

I borrowed Dad’s car and made it to gentle yoga. It felt great and challenging. I worried about the car during the entire class. What if it dies? I just started scheduling myself everyday. I don’t want to have to stop now.

When I got home Dad told me the radiator was empty and the car is fine. I’ll be more careful to remember my phone.
